Gay Marriage's

I'm not gay . My opnion on this matter has changed somewhat I dont think they shoudl be allowed to get married however I feel that many are making this a religous argument. In all honesty I believe our country is turning into religous nuts. I think that is really sad, I believe in God but think that churches at this time are doing as much harm as good. Gay Marriage is turning into a political battle as well politicians are using this as tool to get elected so they can pass other things that people are overlooking because for some reason what Homosexuals do is now more important that other things in this country. My point is how does it bother you? A question to those of you who are more educated in the Bible than me does it not say to not judge that is God's job? So if thats the case let God deal without Preacher has two of the same sex wed.

No, God is not turning his back on them, it is the other way around. I am not above talking to homosexuals or being friends with them. I am friends with one at work. She knows my feelings about it, and that is fine. If they come to God, and confess their sins, they will not be homosexuals though. If they become saved, they will not desire to do the same acts that they are currently performing.

Yes, and there are as many Gays now as there were five hundred years ago.

If they had intended that homosexuals marry there wouldn't have been laws on the state dockets that prohibited it and to answer you question, it probably should be a state matter unless the US Constitution is amended. And yes pre marital sex is also a sin. But just like homosexuality it can also be forgiven. And if there is no repentance......

i agree that we should try to share with them the way of the Bible...it is our Christian duty...however there is a difference in a law and a friendly hand

my whole point with the pre-marital sex is that some people are gettin too Holy for their britches and need to realize that we all commit many sins each day that are just as bad as being a homosexual...it's like the dang holdback issue, everyone does it

at the end of the day for every single one of us (homosexuals included) it is our relationship with God and how we believe that really matters, not what Sally or Dave or whoever practice in their sinful life...we cannot control that, but we can be accepting and still love them no matter what they do...

Any moral argument is a "religious" argument. Religion is the outworking of a persons beliefs. Even atheism is a "religious" belief. Your presuppositional ideas are your religious thoughts. And culture is the outworking of a societies religious beliefs.

The job of the Government is to uphold God's word and to wield the swored when necessary (Romans 12). How a nation deals with God and His Word is directly related to His either blessing or cursing a nation. Do you think it mere accident that the Western nations that for centuries have been established upon Christianity have been so richly blessed while the heathen nations who worshiped vain idols and engaged in false religion squandered in poverty? God blesses those who seek to follow His commabnds and curses those who reject Him and His Son.

Romans 3:23 says that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.

You know I was thinking about something. How you really shouldn't go pointing fingers. You point there is one index finger pointing away from you while your thumb points to the middle, ring, and the little finger. Those three fingers are pointing right back at you.

You're basically (well not basically, you are) judging them. Judge not or you too will be judged.
